ISO(国際標準化)認証に向けた一歩 ― ISO/TC157国際会議に参加―/A Step Toward ISO Certification — Participation in the ISO/TC157 International Meeting

2025年9月22日から25日、プロジェクトマネージャーであるハノイ工科大学 Phan Trung Nghia 准教授 が、タイ・バンコクで開催された 第40回ISO/TC157^＊ 国際会議 に出席しました。本会議には 32か国80名を超える専門家が参加し、国際標準化に関する活発な議論が行われました。

今回の会議では「タンパク質フリー天然ゴム」に関する新規ISO登録の準備プロセスについて学び、今後の規格化に向けた最新情報を得る貴重な機会となりました。また、各国の専門家との交流を通じて、今後の技術協力や情報交換に向けた国際的ネットワーク構築も行いました。

INBERBONプロジェクトでは「タンパク質フリー天然ゴム」製品のISO取得をプロジェクト目標としており、今回の国際会議の参加は、成果達成に向けた重要な一歩となりました。

コンドームなどの 避妊および性感染症防止用バリア製品に関する国際規格を定める、ISO（国際標準化機構）の技術委員会です。製品の品質・安全性・有効性 を確保するための基準および試験方法を策定しています。

From September 22 to 25, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Phan Trung Nghia, Project Manager from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, attended the 40th ISO/TC157 International Meeting held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The meeting brought together more than 80 experts from 32 countries, who engaged in active discussions on international standardization in the field.

During the conference, participants learned about the preparation process for a new ISO registration on protein-free natural rubber, gaining valuable insights into the latest developments toward future standardization.

The event also provided an important opportunity to strengthen international networks through exchanges with experts from various countries, paving the way for future technical cooperation and information sharing.

Within the INBERBON Project, obtaining ISO certification for protein-free natural rubber products is one of the main objectives, and participation in this international meeting marks a significant step toward achieving this goal.

ISO/TC157 is a technical committee of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that develops international standards for barrier products used for contraception and prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), such as condoms.

The committee establishes standards and test methods to ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of these products.
