On 21 March 2024, the HUST-NUT Joint Symposium was held at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Eight presenters from both universities presented their research results.

4. Microbial transformation of natural and artificial compounds and related research collaboration by Dr. Daisuke Kasai
5. Development of biological wastewater treatment system for natural rubber industries by Dr. Takahiro Watari
6. Microbial bio-production by sustainable bioresource utilization by Dr. Yosuke Shida
7. Novel microbial strategies for nitrogen removal in wastewater treatment by Dr. Tran Phuong Thao
8. Driving Micromachines: Compounds Delivery using Cytoskeletal Protein Dynamics by Dr. Ikuko Fujiwara
At the symposium, three professors from HUST, including Vice-President Dr. Chinh, and three professors from NUT, including Professor Emeritus Fukuda, were awarded the title of visiting professor.
In addition, the signing of a three-party NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between HUST, NUT and Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG), which had been discussed since last summer, was completed in March, and the signing was announced. Collaboration with private companies is essential to achieving project goals, and we hope to meet good partners in this one-year period.
In the evening, a networking dinner was held at the Alumni Centre on the university campus, where the participants were able to make strong friendships. An executive from the VRG also attended the event and we exchanged views on the future.
ハノイ工科大学と長岡技術科学大学による共同シンポジウムが開催されました
2024年3月21日、ハノイ工科大学において、HUST-NUT Joint Symposiumが開催されました。両大学から8名のプレゼンテーションがあり研究成果が発表されました。

また、シンポジウムではチン副学長をはじめとするHUSTの教授3名及び、福田名誉教授をはじめとする長岡技大の教授3名がそれぞれ客員教授としての称号を授与されました。
加えて、昨年夏より調整がすすめられていたハノイ工科大学、長岡技大及びベトナムゴム会社（VRG）の3者NDA（秘密保持契約）の署名が3月に完了し、その締結がアナウンスされました。プロジェクト目標の達成には企業との共同が不可欠で、この一年の期間で良いパートナーとの出会いを期待したいと思います。
夜には大学構内Alumniセンターでネットワークディナーが開催され、それぞれが親交を深めることができました。会場にはベトナムゴム会社重役も参加し、今後についての意見交換を交わしました。
